MATH RESOURCES:

RELEASED MATH E.O.G. Want some extra practice on those tough math questions? Use the released math EOG to see what the questions will be like at the end of the year.  If you would like to check your answers EMAIL ME , or send your child in with their answer sheet.

NCDPI Website: This page provides a lot of good information for parents and some great resources for helping your kids.

​

Reflex Math:  Want your child to get better and quicker with their math facts? This is the site you'll want to use! Each student has a username and password, allowing them to practice their fact fluency while playing games and earning points.

​

TenMarks: Each student has a username and a password to use with this site to help them practice their math skills.

​

Prodigy: A fun game for kids to practice math in an entertaining and engaging way!

​

IXL Math: A website for helping practice specific skills, especially word problems!

ReadTheory: A site for kids to practice reading articles and answering questions on our key skills; each student has a username and password.

NCDPI Reading Website: Some helpful resources for parents and students.

Epic! Book App: This application is wonderfully interactive, and great for letting your child use a tablet or device while sparking their love of reading. With thousands of books, educational videos, and read-alouds your child is bound to find something they're interested in! Just use the classroom code ECK-9067 and have them find their name and let the adventure begin.

​

Typing Club: Have your child log in with their school username and password to practice their typing skills even at home! The better they do, the more likely they will find their name at the top of the leaderboard!

​

Wonderopolis: Want to make the reading homework a little more fun? Pick an article off of Wonderopolis once a week and learn all about your childs wildest wonders! You can even submit your very own wonders and wait for them to be answered! Practice with the vocabulary words, and play the games after you're all done!

Youtube American Revolution Playlist: Alexander Hamilton Soundtrack  : How much do you know about the man who is on our five dollar bill? Well, thanks to the creative genius of Lin Manuel Miranda, we now have a fabulous work of art that tells the story through the use of hip hop and catchy beats. We will be using carefully selected songs throughout the second nine weeks to help paint a picture of what revolutionary America was like, and to see it through the eyes of one of the founding fathers.
